Are we solely responsible for where we stand in life?

I think it totally depends on a person’s capabilities and limitations. For instance: a person who is absolutely not capable of doing anything because of his physical or mental condition should not be blamed by us. We should measure his deeds while comparing with his condition, and try to help him to stand on his own feet. If a person, is absolutely fine, physically and mentally, but not doing anything, then we can blame him. Maybe he is not doing anything, because of his laziness. For these people, there should be some counselors, who can talk to them, and make them realize that they should do something, or the counselors can put some ideas in front of them. What they can do, and how they can do it. Even so many physically challenged had done such a tremendous thing which is beyond the reach of many physically normal people. One of the greatest examples is "Stephen William Hawking". As many of us know about him, We know what he was being paralyzed, has given to the world.
Some people say: we can not do anything, we are good for nothing, These are useless excuses unless they have serious problems. We read about many great people. who were born in poor families, but, with their hard work and determination, they have shone all over the world. Such as our former president of India (Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam), from a newspaper seller, how he became a great scientist, later on, the president of India! It was possible all with his determinations and interest.
A government can play a major role in the development of society, city, state, and country. it can generate jobs, and train or educate people, forgetting the jobs. The private sector also can be involved in the development of society.

  1. You have hit the nail on its head!! We should judiciously recognize the difference between an excuse and a compulsion before judging or commenting. But since only we are in the best position to judge what is an excuse or a real compulsion for us, we should not dupe ourselves by terming a difficulty as an compulsion otherwise our own progress will be affected.

    1. Exactly!
We should judge a person while observing his/her situation. We should able to differentiate between a fake excuse and a real excuse.
